At a young age, Dr. Rapsinski realized the amazing joy, laughter, companionship, and love that our pets give us everyday. Caring for pets quickly became her passion, and made her want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine! Dr. Rapsinski is continually working to increase her knowledge and skills to be able to bring the most advanced care to all of her patients so they can live their best life! (In October 2022, Dr. R traveled to Japan for her pet Aurora to have an open heart surgery for degenerative mitral valve disease. The corrective procedure is not currently available in the United States.)
A Sarver native, Dr. Rapsinski graduated from Knoch High School, completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and obtained her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts. She has interests in surgery (soft tissue/limited orthopedic), emergency/ critical care, rehabilitation/maladaptive pain management, and complex long term medical management cases.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rapsinski enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats, sporting events (Here we go Steelers!), true crime shows, singing, cooking, and spending time in the outdoors.

Chris began her medical career as an EMT at the age of 16. In 2021, she switched to Veterinary Medicine because she realized that she likes cats much better than people. She has three cats of her own (Beanie, Siddy and Raven) who rule the house with tiny iron paws, and one work cat (Cher) that she grudgingly shares with the rest of the staff. In her spare time, Chris can be found doing mysterious, crafty things. Her particular favorites are embroidery, clay-throwing, and drawing. She sells many of her products at local craft shows under the banner Indeed! Creations.
Julia started her career in Veterinary Medicine during High School in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative. Julia has 2 cats, Piper aka Peepa and Jasper aka Teeni, both of which she acquired while working here at Saxony.
